King Chung Huang notes that UPN's Enterprise television show uses G4 Cubes to power the "Bridge" of the ship: "I just read an article that idrivex (an Apple Developer) wrote after visiting the set of the UPN show Enterprise. In it, he reveals that all the displays on Enterprise are run by 16 G4 Cubes."

    Not surprised

I not surprise to see Macs in use on the Enterprise set. Michael Okuda, who's been the scenic art director since the Next Generation days, is a huge Mac fan. If I remember right he's co-written some Star Trek books produced entirely on Macs.

    Wouldn't it be funny

.... I would laugh so hard if during a live show they may do for some charity or something, if they had chosen Wintel machines and all of a sudden the blue screen of death appeared. I bet if Billy G were watching, he would have a kibby.

and PS.... I love this thingy.... too bad my login information is at home and not at work... oh well

    Wow!

Who would have thought that all 16 Cubes ever sold would end up at the same location!

    Try 100,000

    There were 100,000 Cubes sold.

Hardly a failed product, just unappreciated in the "million or bust" US market.

    Borg cubes!

Not only has Enterprise encountered the Borg, it has been assimilated!

I always said that Janeway had more balls - she would never have let that happen!
