    Incredible!

He uses Macs more than PC's but the support for Macs on AOL is pretty lame. Upgrades come months, if not years after the PC versions, I understand their high speed access doesn't work with Macs, only PeeCees (I don't know that for a fact), so what gives? Is he just a fugurehead or something?

    Maybe he's smart enough.

..to not use his own product, that way he'd have no idea on the state of the AOL for Mac!

    He must be using...

Earthlink or some other ISP then. Unless he uses his Macs for crashing the system.

    Interesting

In contrast, the Beastie Boys use 3 MCs and 1 DJ.

Why are we stuck at 5.0?

I mean if the CEO uses more Macs than PCs, shouldn't he be keeping his favorite platform up to date? Talk about hypocracy. True we could do it in VirtualPC, but why should we?

    Business is Business

High-level business executives tend to be pragmatists. The decisions they make are based on how much it will grow the bottom line. If AOL thought they could attract a sufficient number of new paying customers (and retail those who might otherwise leave), they would spend more on Mac development. They don't, so they don't. And they're probably right.
