'Spector' spyware software announced

Spectorsoft Inc. has announced the release of its new spyware program, Spector v1.0, which automatically takes periodic screenshots of a PowerPC-based Macintosh and saves those screenshots to a local or network drive. Screenshots can be taken as often as every few seconds, or as infrequently as once every few minutes. The Mac OS 8.0-9.x software is available for $70.

    Could be handy...

    I can imagine many useful, benign applications for this sort of thing but calling it "spyware" makes the author's intent fairly clear. Anyway, I'd use the freeware SnapperHead by the amazing StimpSoft first. (I have no affiliation whatsoever.)
