MacSpeech certifies Griffin iMic

MacSpeech, Inc. announced today it has certified the iMic from Griffin Technologies for use with its Speech Recognition products, including iListen for Mac OS 9 and the upcoming iDictate for Mac OS X. The iMic universal audio adapter is a USB device that allows the connection of virtually any microphone or sound input device to the iBook, G4 Cube, Titanium PowerBook G4 or any other Mac with USB ports.

Does that also mean you can get analog audio in from a hifi amplifier for recording the old fashion vinyl LP's?? Is it any good quality coming through then for recording those on cd??
