Vicomsoft has posted SoftRouter 6.6.2 and Internet Gateway 6.6.2, which can now ping IP addresses before allocation from the inbuilt DHCP server. The Web caching server module now supports a host exclusion list for upstream proxy servers. Vicomsoft SurfDoubler 6.6.2 also provides improved DNS name resolution and improve reliability for large file transfers. Updates are free to 6.6 users.
