ComGrafix has released the full commercial version of its RagTime 5 business publishing software free of charge for private, non-commercial use: "The main difference from the commercial version is a startup window that asks the user to acknowledge that RagTime Solo may not be employed for commercial use." The publishing suite combines word processing, spreadsheet, pictures, drawing, charting, and slideshow as well as offers standard layout functions such as embedded objects, rotation/scaling/cropping, stylesheets (paragraph and document-based), and several import/export routines. A CD is expected to be available soon.
