Digital Leisure brings arcade titles to Mac

Digital Leisure has announced that several of its arcade titles for DVD Video including Dragon's Lair, Space Ace and Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp are now Mac compatible. Digital Leisure will also feature the first holographic video game - Hologram Time Traveler - as a new Mac title. "(A)s Mac fans ourselves, we wanted to ensure that these ground breaking adventures could be enjoyed by those with Apple computers," said David Foster, general manager of Digital Leisure.

    Old!

    Dragon's Lair and Space Ace were reviewed in a MacFormat somewhere around issue 30. Try 1995!

    They got crappy scores as well.

    Well...

    Just because something is old doesn't mean that it isn't still worth something. As well, those older versions of these games were installable games that probably weren't arcade exact. These current releases are the games playing through DVD video, so that pretty much any DVD player - even non-computer ones - can play them.

    Old games

    Old video games can still be fun. I still play Beyond Dark Castle on my Classic. And I wish I could find the first version which I've never completed.
