ZDNN has posted a piece detailing the development of accessories made to latch on to Apple's new flat-panel iMac. The article states that Macally is already planning keyboards and other accessories, but quotes a Kensington representative as saying "If we try to track Apple's styling too closely, we tend to get burned."

    Has anyone thought of this features

    - Providing a touch/pen based screen. Extend the existing LCD screen and provide a lightweight film that would be touch/pen screen.
    - Since Apple is pushing this to be a digital hub. It would be nice if I can remove the screen and make it act as a tablet so I can move around the house and still continue working. This is similar to what Microsoft was showing at CES 2002.
    - Is the LCD removable ? If so, is the base and assembly strong enough to replace with maybe 17 inch LCD. I am sure the graphics card supports higher resolution.
