    name conflict

I wonder if they know their utility name conflicts with this one:

    http://www.wildbits.com/rescue/

Is this the same utility or a different one? If the latter, is it as good?

    ditto

I was wondering the same thing. The one on wildbits.com has been around for a while.

    re: name conflict

Prosoft aquired Data Rescue from Wildbits last year, and has been working hard to update it for Mac OS X (and fix several bugs with large volumes). They plan on shipping by the end of February.

So it is the same utility, and it is not only as good, but is getting much better.
