Granite enables 160 GB FireWire drives

Granite Digital has debuted support for ATA-6 compatible hard disks with capacities greater than 137GB in its line of FireWire-based storage solutions. The company will use Oxford Semiconductor's OXFW911 chipset, and use Maxtor 160GB in its storage sets. Granite is demonstrating its FireVue line of 1394-IDE bridge controllers and case kits at MWSF.
