    Wow

Well, yeah...as far as I know they posted it quite a while ago. Go to versiontracker and you will get it when it comes out rather than a week later.

    multiplayer

Okay, perhaps I'm slow on the uptake, but I can't seem to get multiplayer working. I click 'multiplayer' and it says that there are no servers, please go to www.quake3world.com. Well, I can't seem to find anythng there that will get me online besides the PC-only GameSpy.

What am I doing wrong? What do I do to get a list of servers?

    RE: Wow

Actually, it was only posted mid-morning on Monday.

The big b**** here should be the fact that Linux and Windows had their 1.31 almost 2 weeks ago. The update changed the network protocol, and pre-1.31 Q3A couldn't connect to any 1.31 servers, leaving many mac users w/o decent game servers.

At least they kept their promise of having something for the expo, unless you are a OS9 user :)

    Sorry

Sorry for lashing out...I was getting annoyed with other things not being posted and went off the handle. I haven't tested the multiplayer as of yet, but I will tomorrow on my cable modem. I figure it's not worth trying on the 56k I have on this computer. Sorry again. Oh, and by the way...Winblows sucks!

    Be grateful, stop whining

The person who worked o nthis (Graeme Devine I think) is doin this on his own as a favor because he likes OSx and supports the Mac. Id SOftware could behave like Bungie and just develop for Microsoft (don't hold you breath to see Halo on the Mac--and even if it comes don't expect it to perform since M$ wouldn't wnat the Xbox shown up). I for one am glad to see Wolfenstein, Quake, and UT for OSX. Compared to the zero we've seen from Bungie, I'd applaud their efforts.
