Sybase promises to improve enterprise software for the Mac development community with the its to develop Open Client for Mac and Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.5 (ASE 12.5) for OS X. Open Client for Mac will be an Internet-enabled development tool kit for developers delivering Mac applications across a variety of database systems, while ASE 12.5 will allow developers to build applications with native OS X support for database applications. Both will be available later this year.
