Imation is demonstrating a variety of devices at the Expo this week, including it mini CD-R burner, all-in-one media card reader, its new quarter-sized DataPlay digital media, and other popular optical media (32x CD-R, mini, and busniness card CD-R).

• Imation RipGO! mini CD-R burner and digital audio player is a sleek, battery-powered USB CD-R drive that uses mini (80mm) CD-R discs to store and play up to 185MB of digital information or three hours playback with MP3.
  
  
• FlashGO! Desktop reader/writer is a mass storage-compliant, multi-slot flash memory card reader/writer designed to support all flash/memory card formats, including Compact Flash (Type I and II), Smart Media, Multimedia Card, Secure Digital, Memory Stick, and IBM's Microdrive. It is slated for availability in first half of 2002.
   
  
• DataPlay digital media is a preview of its affordable, miniature optical media, which is approximately the size of a quarter. It is designed to let users download and record 500MB of digital content on a single disc and play it back on any DataPlay-enabled device, such as digital music players, e-books, portable games or digital cameras. Imation is the first U.S.-based manufacturer of both blank and pre-recorded DataPlay digital media. Products are expected to be available in select retailers by first half of 2002.
  
  
• 32X CD-R media is designed for the next wave of high-speed CD-R and CD-RW drives.  The write-once discs, available in silver, black and five neon colors and offer an increased storage capacity of 700MB of data or up to 80 minutes for audio files.
  
  
• Imation's new line of small format optical media includes mini (80mm) and Business Card CD-R media.  The new mini (80mm) CD-R discs hold up to 185MB of digital information, while Business Card CD-R discs feature a write speed of up to 16X and can hold up to 50MB of information. Business Card CD-R discs are expected to be available later this month.
  
  
• Imation is also shipping its 4.7GB DVD+RW media in addition to its 4.7GB DVD-R, and 4.7/9.4GB DVD-RAM media.
  
  
• Several media storage accessories are also available, including a new Imation On-the-GO! storage accessories system is designed to keep CDs, DVDs and diskettes organized and protected using unique removable media sleeves that interchange with other Imation storage accessories. The Imation Pop-Out Neon Storage Cases are available in five neon colors and feature a unique pop-out mechanism that allows users to easily push an ejector button at the top of the case for quick access to CDs.  The Label-N-GO! CD labeling kit is an all-in-one label kit that includes design software featuring more than 500 designs, 50 premium-quality label sheets, an easy-to-use label applicator and a permanent marker.
