Contour Design has announced OS X support for its ShuttlePRO, which can now be used with virtually any application supporting OS X. The system includes software drivers and control panel as well as application settings or pre-defined application support (including Final Cut Pro 3.0). The $100 device offers one-hand access to 13 fully programmable buttons and jog/shuttle knob: The inner ring or 'jog' rotates through 360 degrees and provides precision frame by frame control, while the 'shuttle' or outer black ring is rubberized and spring-loaded.
