Media 100 today announced Media 100 i Version 8, an OS X-native version of its content design system for professional content creators, broadcast designers and digital media artists.
Version 8, expected to be widely available in early summer 2002, is designed with a new driver, middleware and modernized interface architecture. It includes improved analog and DV capture, the ability to draft composites directly in the tineline, expanded graphic layer suport, the ability to import/export to AE (and other applications), and better audio track mixing with support for up to 24 real-time tracks and a new master audio track and support for audio reverb and dynamics processing effects. Pricing starts at $3,000.
