Brother: new laser printers, color fax inkjet

Brother also introduced new network-ready color laser printers and a new color inkjet fax.
The HL-2600CN and HL-3450CN laser printers offer faster processors, improved color output quality, improved color matching utilities, an advanced user control panel, improved storage options and built-in Ethernet connectivity. The HL-2600CN, which prints at 6 ppm color and 24 ppm monochome and offers 2400 dpi resolution, is slated to ship this month for $2,000, while the large-format HL-3450CN, which offers the same specs, will ship in February for $3,500. Both printers come standard with a built-in 10/100 Base T Ethernet web server.
Its new color inkjet fax and copier IntelliFax-1800c includes a Super G3 33.6K bps fax modem and has 8MB of memory as well as offers 4-second per page fax transmissions, 1200x1200 color copies, and 2400 x 1200 dpi printing at 10 ppm monochrome and 8 ppm color via a standard USB connection.
