Brother has introduced its PT-2300 Labeling System for creating high quality, adhesive-backed laminated labels. It prints in 8 type sizes, 8 type styles, and 4 fonts, up to 6 lines, with multiple text-block printing and also features a 10-character x 2 line LCD display. The USB-based device (pricing not available, no cable included) can be used as a stand-alone labeler and also as a PC/Mac compatible label system. Brother also introduced its low-priced PT-1500pc ($80), which includes editing software, USB printer cable, tape cassette and AC power adapter. OS X drivers are expected to be available in "early 2002."
