CMS introduces automatic back-up drives

CMS Peripherals today announced a complete line of portable notebook and desktop Automatic Backup Systems (ABS) for the Mac. The devices provide "hands-free backup" and external storage with either USB or FireWire connectivity. The compact notebook ABS (FireWire or USB 2.0), starting at $280,is now shipping with a three-year warranty in capacities of 10GB, 20GB, 30GB, and 40GB with 60GB model available the end of February 2002. The Desktop ABS is available now in capacities of 20GB ($350), 40GB 60GB 80GB and 100GB ($650) capacities.
