Unibrain is demonstrating FireNAS, "the first" Network Attached Storage appliance with FireWire and Gigabit Ethernet. The 400Mb storage device includes two FireWire ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 100 BaseT Ethernet ports, RAID support (Levels 0, 1, and 5), Web-baed management, support for Mac file sharing, and two USB ports for external peripherals. It also debuted its new Fire-i Digital Camera that delivers 640x480 resolution, two FireWire ports, and bundled software (free evaluation version available), which allows the user to monitor one or all cameras at the touch of a single button, change and adjust camera setting individually or globally, and capture still images while monitoring. (Only works with OS X.)
