Apple extends OS X 10.1 upgrade program

Apple has extended its Mac OS X Up-to-Date program for upgrades to OS X 10.1 for purchasers of the retail version of OS X and qualifying computers. The deadline has been moved from December 31,2001 to January 31, 2002, as noted by MacNN reader Richard Lorenc.

    Hmmm... suddenly a few promos end on the 31st of Jan02 instead of the 31st of dec01... What coming in february???

    I wonder whether the promotion's extended because there are some delays in releasing 10.2.

    How about Free?

    If you live in California above Southern California region and your a faithfull Mac user , you may now of a chain store that sells only Macs. And if your nice enough to give them your name and address, maybe even buy something. They'll give you a free uprgade to 10.1. They were nice enough to give me a copy. Saved me $19.95.
