The Nielsen//NetRatings Holiday eCommerce Index has ranked Apple fifth in its list of the fastest growing e-tailers for the 2001 holiday season. The firm says Apple's e-commerce site garnered 17,642,000 shoppers in the 2001 Holiday season, up from 10,322,000 the previous year, a gain of 71 percent. The fastest growing e-tailers include Columbia House and fingerhut.com, each at least doubling their traffic from the previous year.

    Woohoo!

Way to go, Apple! I have a good feeling about this year. "Big" new products. Apple-branded IT. And a strong Apple Store, online and irl.

    I hope

I hope Steve talks about this Monday. I hope it is evident in their quarterly results. I hope their stock price reflects these results. And I hope Stevie-boy gives me a good reason to go even further into debt! COME ON BOY, you can do it!!

    Just clicks, not sales

This rating is just how many people clicked into the site. It has nothing to do with how much was actually purchased.

Good news either way though. Even if people weren't buying, they were looking....maybe people are realizing there is something other than Windows.
