if all these reviews are financed by Apple so people will eventually become convinced MacOS X is just about ready to be the main OS they'll be using ?
As far as I am concerned, I'll stick to OS 9 as long as I'll be able to. I'll only install OS X on my Beige G3 to play around. And I know I'll have to buy a new Mac with a much faster processor to comfortably run OS X. Besides, I truly think the Finder under OS X lacks many features we've had for years. I don't know anything about programming (except BASIC... okay, I really don't know anything about it) but to me, it would seem the features in the Finder are mostly cosmetics (correct me if I'm wrong).
And yes in case you want to know, I have a Mac running OS X at work which I use only to browse the internet and launch FreeHand 10 just because we have it (but don't use it).
