Microsoft's settlement of the private antitrust actions filed against it 'makes a mockery of class actions' because it deliberately fails to compensate plaintiffs and is likely to be rejected by the court perhaps in the next couple of days, according to the plaintiffs' lawyerq quoted by Forbes.com.

that the outcome would be just? Most any large corporation can side step the laws because they can afford to hire lawyers to stop the wheels of justice from turning.
