A MacNN reader provided a status update on the online Developer Tools, which were made available earlier today, but temporarily pulled:
The December Dev tools for OS X are also BACK online at ADC, the ones that were online for 2.5 hours on the 8th, now back online since around 2AM est this morning, pulled for a few hours AGAIN today, and now back again, still no word on OS X 10.1.2 which apple says is REQUIRED to use some of the tools (Applescript Studio).

In the AppleScript Studio Documentation it notes that if you don't have the Dec. 2001 Dev. tools installed, then 10.1.2 is required for using compiled a** (hehe) applications.
