Mediafour has released a preview of its XPlay software, which provides read-write access to the iPod through Windows. The preview release software allows for documents and data files to be written to, and read from the iPod; read-only access to songs already loaded on the iPod is permitted. Future preview releases will include write support for songs to the iPod.

    Good!

    Three steps:

    1. iPod is a really cool MP3 Player
    2. MP3 players will not cause peopel to switch platforms.
    3. iPod should be sold to Windows users.

This is a good first step, but Apple should bundle the software with iPod.
