Universal Bluetooth access point unveiled

At this week's Bluetooth Developers Conference in San Francisco Ubicom, Inc is demonstrating a Bluetooth Ethernet access point platform that it claims will cost less than $30 to build. The device uses a single-chip IP2022 Processor and can link Bluetooth-enabled PDAs, mobile phones and laptop computers to Ethernet local area networks (LANs) and the Internet.

bluetooth is actually better than you think. You can cheaply set up a wireless network with the range of airport, albeit not the speed. If it's inexpensive, then it'll rock!!!
