Earlier this month, Apple was honored for "its exceptional level of support for public education in Georgia [and] was named the 2001 Georgia Friend of Education." It was cited for working on various initiatives, including technological assistance at each of the association’s conferences, and co-developing the New Millennium Leadership Program (NMLP).
