    Confused

I went to the ProTV page and it details the OS X software for the product. It's right there, downloadable, so what is the survey all about?

    Note for the Pro TV

The software is the TV tuner and input software for the Firewire formac studio input, not the cheap PCI interface TV tuner, the studio is nice but very pricy and is not primarily a TV tuner, the OS Xsoftware for the studio doesn't suppor the Pro TV input!

There is an open source project underway at SourceForge for BT848-based cards:

    open source?

Will that work for an ATI XClaim VR card? I really doubt ATI will be releasing OS X software when their OS 9 software was so crappy to begin with.

How can I tell if the XClaim VR card is BT848-based?

what a bunch of ninnies...they've had that card out for about three years, and they're just now checking out the 'demand' for OSX drivers for the card? Here, how about this...you sold me the card, now support the fu@king thing. Don't try to $crew me outta more money, just support your product.
