TC Works is offering SparkLE, its new real-time audio editing and authoring application, for $20 in a special Christmas Offer. SparkLE includes a Plug-In bundle with a mastering quality Audio Maximizer, a flexible Tempo Delay and a One Band EQ with various equalization options (selectable Notch, Low Pass, High Pass and Parametric). A new version is due in January with MP3 encoding via the original Fraunhofer codec. Registered customers will be offered an upgrade to the $50 application for $10.

    Comment on instant loan

Why no comments allowd on that news item? Anyway, read the fine print...it says finance charges will accrue for six months, and then they will refund you if you pay it off in those six months...Meaning you pay 27%, and hope they don't forget to refund you, and hope they don't change their policy midstream...sounds like a ripoff to me.

    Umm...What?

I'm not sure what the two previous posts are about, but I've played with SparkME last weekend and will buy the LE version. The only problem I encountered was that it (SparkME) wouldn't recognize my Griffin iMic for audio input.

I have been having problems with SparkME on OS X. It doesn't seem to like the driver for my M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 sound card. Three times now it stops working, then I lose all sound in X and have to do a reinstall. I tracked it down to SparkME last night, because it was right after the install that things got messed up again. I wanted to like it, I wanted to buy SparkLE, but I'm not so sure now...

    Sound Edit

Is there anyone else who misses Macromedia's SoundEdit? It was so straight forward and simple to use. A true Apple sound application. Since they stopped developing it years ago my only hopes lie in Apple making their own sound editing software. I don't like Spark LE.
