BookBook now available for 15-inch rMBP

Twelve South has launched a new version of its BookBook case designed for the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Made from genuine leather, the BookBook resembles a worn coffee table book that includes a rounded spine and two hardback covers. A soft padded interior protects the MacBook shell from scratches, while two Victorian emblems on the front of the case ensure customers always open the case right side up. The 15-inch Retina BookBook can be ordered online for $80.

New iPhone/iPad cases from iSkin and Studio Proper

iSkin has released the solo FX, a form-fitting case that includes coverage for the edges, both sides, and the back of an iPad mini. Five color options, including purple, red, blue, pink, and carbon black, are being offered online for $39, which includes a free ProTouch Titan screen protector. Meanwhile, Studio Proper's new Proper Leather lineup includes cases for the iPhone, iPad, and iPad mini. Prices range from $50 up to $70, and each case is made from genuine hand-dyed leather.
