(Updated with complete list of countries) Access to movies and TV shows via iTunes in the Cloud is rolling out across several more European countries, reports say. The one confirmed country is France, where the feature has been tested with both iTunes and the Apple TV. Various people on Twitter, however, are claiming that the option is now also available in Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
iTunes in the Cloud lets people redownload content on different devices that share the same iTunes account. The feature is particularly important in the case of the Apple TV, since it means a person can watch a movie they bought elsewhere without having to stream it from another device on a local network.
Apple has yet to update its official compatibility page to reflect the service upgrades. The company is usually quiet about iTunes in the Cloud expansions however, and may just be deploying gradually.
Update: MacRumors indicates that support has expanded to 11 European countries in total. The full list includes Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
