Includes first preview version of Edge Reflow

For Creative Cloud subscribers only, Adobe has released updates to several web design tools. The most significant may be Edge Reflow, available in public preview form for the first time. The software lets people create layouts using CSS, a resizable design area, and real-time preview via Edge Inspect. CSS can be extracted for use in apps like Dreamweaver or Edge Code.

Edge Animate has been updated with gradients, CSS filters, and better font support. Linear and radial gradients are available, and some of the filters include blur, brightness, and saturation. The improved font options involve a visual web font selector, and live previews of web fonts.

An upgraded Edge Code preview has been given options like Live Developer, which immediately updates the browser as code changes are made, and Quick Edit, which allows editing code in context rather than forcing people to switch between files. Code hinting has been introduced for CSS properties and HTML tags and attributes.

Dreamweaver, lastly, has been given integrated typography access, and an enhanced fluid grid layout. The latter incorporates class tags, and a revised editing interface. Edge web fonts can now be previewed and selected in Dreamweaver.
