A MacNN Reader notes a possible conflict between Mac OS 9.2.2, running as the Classic environment in OS X, and Wacom tablet drivers: It appears under the 9.2.2 updater that Wacom drivers for their tablets, currently 4.71-4 do not load in Classic OS X. I continue to get an error stating the drivers did not load."

Why upgrades exist...
Wacom has, and has had for weeks, an upgrade on their site for 4.71-8; it entails minor fixes and updates to the drivers.
Works fine w/ 9.2.2 with photoshop 5.5, et al.
