Too bad MGI elected to kill Live Picture (formerly from Live Picture Corp). It was one of the best Photo Imaging Solutions I've ever used. Ran circles around Photoshop with it's real time deiting, unlimited file sizes, 48 bit colorspace, resolution independent textures and gradients, etc., etc..
Unfortunately, like Beta vs. VHS, success or failure in business is rarely determined by the quality of a product or technology, but rather herd mentality.
