New product line integrates new technology with vintage gear

Behringer is demonstrating the first-ever AirPlay system that allows users to combine new and legacy components into one IP-based wireless central command at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The Omni System features the Omni Amp receiver amplifier, Omni Link adapter, subwoofer, wireless speakers and AirPlay technology that enables consumers to bridge the gap between new and legacy electronic components from multiple manufacturers.

When connected to a home Wi-Fi router, the system becomes a networking infrastructure that enables users to stream music to and from multiple devices. The Omni AirPlay System components include the Omni Amp, allowing passive speakers to be connected to the system for wireless AirPlay audio streaming; the Omni Link, a stereo line output receiver for any active amplified system allowing to link open-air radio and AirPlay systems integrated into one central station.

Also announced was the Omni SP3i -- a three-way speaker system with a four-inch integral subwoofer. The Omni SP5i is also a three-way speaker system, but with a six-inch integral subwoofer. The Omni Surface are wall-mounted speakers designed to operate with the entire system. More details on the entire system, including pricing and other performance information are expected at next week's CES.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything made by Behringer. It's 100% cheap junk.

You beat me to it, Mr. Strat. Everything I ever had my hands on from this company was pure and utter trash.
