Password Repository 3 coming for iOS soon

Tension Software announced today that Password Repository 3 is now available as a native app for OS X. Password Repository allows users to manage all of their passwords and related data in a safe way on their Macs, and Tension Software announced the program will soon be available for iOS.

Password Repository is a document-based app, and documents created within the app are protected by a Master Password with an AES-256 encryption algorithm. Those documents can be transferred securely to iOS devices, where they can be viewed and used. The documents have a simple layout based on a "Master and Detail" interface, with a list of records on the left and a detail of the selected record on the right.

Users can modify categories, entry names, URLs, accounts, user IDs, passwords, email addresses, and general notes on each entry. For data security, users must switch from view mode to edit mode in order to change the information in any document.

Password Repository requires a Mac running OS X 10.7 or later, and there is a version optimized for Mac OS X 10.8. It can be purchased from Tension Software for $25, and existing customers can upgrade for $10.
