Dantowitz Consulting has posted an Apple Store locator, which offers the ability find upcoming and current Apple retail store location based on city or zipcode.

Doing the same search 2 minutes later gave me 38 listings. This time with the Walden Galleria being the number 1 answer.
Open stores get a "Status: Open". An expected open date for 'coming soon' stores would be nice.

Apple lists ALL retail stores at http://buy.apple.com, authorized and its own stores. This Dantowitz search engine only lists Apple's own retail stores.
It lists the store as being in 02138 (Harvard Sq). It's not. It's in 02141 (East Cambridge; see the CambridgeSide Galleria's web site).
Looks like there is plans for one at Lenox in Atlanta.

Also added the date a store openned or the date we have heard it might open.
Again, this locator uses our database CGI for finding things by LOCATION that are close to you and also lists only current, coming soon, and potential Apple Retail Store locations. Its a simple demo of our software... haven't set a designer to make the pages look pretty, though.

Store locater?
Tried the store locator to see if it listed the Walden Galleria in Buffalo, NY. I entered "Buffalo, NY", "any distance" and "any store or Potential Location". The system came back with 1 match for Valley Fair in Santa Clara, CA. A distance of 2284.4 miles from Buffalo. Hmmmm.
Guess I should pack a lunch.
