Morning tech news: Palm yesterday announced the completion of its acquisition of substantially all of the intellectual property and other technology assets of Be, Inc. for $11 million in Palm stock and that it has hired several key members of Be's engineering team; office workers are spending double the amount of the time on instant messaging, according to a Jupiter Media Metrix report that also notes that AOL is the leading brand at both home and work, but Yahoo and Microsoft were "aggressively increasing their reach and total usage minutes;" and Yahoo! will start allowing advertisers to pay to be listed in results generated by the site's search engine.

Ha ha!
Ha ha! Poooor Be. You would'nt take Apple's $400 million to sell your OS to become the next MacOS, and now look at you...nothing more than a gutter OS begging for users. You're getting what you deserve, being reduced to a handheld OS. Maybe Palm will change the name from BeOS to POS. Piece Of Sh*t.
