Proxim today announced Skyline 802.11a, a family of next generation wireless connectivity products that offer wireless network at 54Mbps. The Harmony 802.11a CardBus Card ($180) and Harmony Access Point ($450) feature Proxim's 2X mode, which enables connection speeds up to 108 Mbps.
