Miglia Technology is now shipping its AlchemyATA133 as well as a Version 2. 0 firmware upgrade that allows Alchemy ATA100 card owners to update it to the ATA133 specification. The new Alchemy ATA133 card offers 133MB/s available bandwidth for data transfer and will also support hard drives that are over 137GB. The company also promises to make a free utility available for pre-G3 PowerMacs that will "enhance the audio and video playback on these machines when using the Alchemy ATA products. "
