Frédéric Miserey reports receiving shipment notification of his iPod order from the Apple Store: "But no power supply yet. The weird thing is that they ship my second order first (I ordered one iPod on 10/24, then an other one with developer discount on 10/25)"

ADC dis. on US ADC store

Go to the US ADC Apple Store on the web. It is listed there (or was). If you have a HW key, you should know how to get to the ADC online store. (hint: check the ADC site map)

    Unbelievable

I can't believe Apple is not shipping these on a first come, first serve basis. This fellow buys 2, one day after the other, and the 2nd order gets filled first. Any luck I had of getting this quickly by ordering it 10 minutes after it's announcement has been shot down.

    I agree...

I also find this unsavory. I was hitting refresh every couple seconds waiting for the Apple Store to come back online after the iPod was announced, and I literally had my order in within 30 seconds of connecting to the Apple Store thanks to 1-Click. What's the deal with that? I'm just impatient. :)

    doubt they play faves

I doubt they are playing favorites. They get fulfilled in the order they show up on the screens of those responsible for fulfilling them. Maybe the updates in the computers on what has been fulfilled or not is also not in line with what really shipped. That happens to me often with Fedex shipments. Their tracking info is often in no way relative to where the package is. Probalby a similar problem at Apple. Deliberately doing something like that is too complicated for Apple to bother with

Apple is shipping to ADC members early. And I got a notice that I had a partial shipment too. Huh...
