Syzygy Research & Technology has begun shipping The Digital Universe, a new astronomical simulator that allows users to view and retrieve information on approximately 20 million objects, including stars, galaxies, nebulae, the planets and their moons, and many more. Among the software's other features is the ability to generate views of the night sky from 100,000 BC to 100,000 AD, as well as an integrated multimedia dictionary. The software is available for C$150 (approximately US$100).
