Readers posts OSX driver for Epson AIO

Marco E. Tabacchi writes about an "alpha quality" OS X printer driver for the Epson Stylus Scan 2500, saying that it supports basic printing (no scanning, no different resolutions, etc.), and "is in no way endorsed by EPSON. As EPSON announced no support for this AIO (all-in-one), I thought it would be interesting to know that there IS a way to print on a SS2500 under OSX"

I have a Stylus Scan 2000 and am appalled at Epson's lack of support for this device, considering its extreme similarity in design and function to the Epson printers and scanners. I visited the site, downloaded Marco's plugin, and changed the names of every file inside the package to "200" instead of "250" and "2000" instead of "2500". I also went into the ss250 (ss200 after the change) resource file and changed all the hex values in the same manner (using Resourceror's Find ASCII check box in the Hex -- Find menu item). I now have VERY BASIC access to the printing functions in my Epson Stylus Scan 2000. Nothing configurable, except application specific settings, but still - it's another limitation that's gone for now, in a very basic way.
Thanks to Marco for doing this. I emailed him about it at the address at the bottom of his page but it bounced. If anyone wants a copy of this Stylus Scan 2000 plugin to use at your own risk, post to this forum and let MacNN know, and I will get it out somehow - right now, i do not have a reliable distribution method.
Just for reference, this is very very basic printing access in OS X 10.1 via the Stylus Scan 2000 Multifuntion device from Epson, and the plugin is in NO WAY sponsored or supported by Epson or anyone.
