OpenOSX.com is now shipping its $30 Grass GIS Pre 2 CD, which installs and configures several packages, including Grass 5.0Pre2, NVIZ, XFree86 4.1.99.1, XDarwin 1.0a3, PostgreSQL 7.1.2, and others. Grass is an open-source, developmental Geographical Information System (GIS) with raster, topological vector, image processing, and graphics production functions, offering 3D, dynamic spatial analysis and visualization. Jeshua Lacock has also posted the Grass Pre 2 binaries, however, "it does not include the software required by Grass that the OpenOSX Pre2 CD installs."
