TinkerTool 2.0 is a freeware utilty that allows users to change various OS X system parameters. The utility allows users to enable/disable the Mac OS X desktop, disable animation effects when opening files, show/hide hidden system files in the Finder, control font smoothing in OS X applications, and select the default font in Cocoa applications.
