Front Base has released FrontBase 3.3, an update to its enterprise-level relational database server. The download package, which contains the FrontBase plugin for WebObjects 5, also gives better indication of where in the input SQL string a given syntax error has occured and fixes a few other bugs. Version 3.2 also brought a 100% improvement in overall performance, a new full text search engine, improvements to the Replication and Clustering functions, and a new transaction logging mechanism as well as a multi-threaded Aqua application for database administration.
