Adaptec introduces XHub for USB 2.0 devices

Adaptec yesterday announced its desktop XHub, a USB 2.0 hub with a "superior cable management system" and LED indicators for each port. All ports are powered for compatibility with bus-powered peripherals and are backward compatible with USB 1.x peripherals. It will be available in three models: XHub 4, XHub4 Plus and XHub7 Plus (Plus models include cable management); they will be available in mid-November through select retailers.
