Lexmark, a manufacturer of Mac-compatible printers, has announced results for its fiscal third quarter. Third quarter revenue was $1.004 billion, up 8 percent (9 percent in constant currency) from the same period in 2000. Diluted net earnings per share were 52 cents compared to 50 cents reported a year ago. The company says it will scale back its workforce up to 12 percent based on the results.
