    oroborusx...

for anybody that cares about CPU usage, oroborusX(not sure about regular oroborus) uses more CPU than it should, think it was using around 15-20 for me, or maybe higher.... where twm, or even something as heavy as enlightenment, used very little. this is just when it's ideling too, no movement... :-/

well, unless it's causing a problem, in general, worrying about CPU usage is pointless. Granted, you want your apps to use as little CPU as possible, but if it doesn't effect what you are doing, it doesn't matter.

Hmmm... that's better than my cube. It does seem to vary quite a bit. However, you will probably find it gets slightly worse as you add more windows to your X desktop. (What a surprise...!) And you will find that XDarwin also begins to 'eat away' at it too.

If you're worried about this (or interested at all), I've added an extra question to the troubleshooting section which deals with the CPU issue, and tries to put in a little perspective...

    Bye!
