MacPlay today announced that Giants: Citizen Kabuto, "the first game to be released exclusively for Mac OS X," has officially gone "gold".
Giants: Citizen Kabuto, single and multi-player, real-time 3D game, is due to ship on October 25th in North American is being localized for a French and German release later this year. The game was originally published by Interplay and has been developed for OS X by OmniGroup. It supports OpenGL, SMP processing, and will "gain a noticeable performance boost" on systems equipped with NVIDIA's new GeForce 3 GPU, as it supports its pixel and vertex shader. A QuickTime trailer preview is available online.
